The Church is the assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ, redeemed by His own blood.
This statement does not apply to any other institution, and if we understand what the Church truly means, we will understand who we have been until now, who we are today, who we will continue to be, and especially what we are called to be.
The term “church” comes from the Greek verb kaleō, which means “to call.” This seems to be a fitting word to define us. The Church is therefore the assembly of those who are called and gathered together by God to fulfill His purposes.
As members of the Body of Christ, El Shaddai Church in Sânnicolau Mic is called to know the Almighty God, but also to make Him known throughout the whole world. Sincere and biblical fellowship in worship is one of the pillars that support the vision of El Shaddai Church, thus seeking to avoid falling into the ritual of routine services.
Likewise, El Shaddai Church has as its purposes serving others (Matthew 22:39, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”), evangelizing the nations (Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”), and glorifying God through the proclamation and faithful living of the Holy Scriptures.
Many call Him “Lord,” but do not obey Him; call Him “Light,” but do not see Him; call Him “Way,” but do not walk in Him; call Him “Life,” but do not live Him; call Him “Wise,” but do not listen to Him; call Him “Good,” but do not love Him; call Him “Rich,” but ask nothing of Him; call Him “Eternal,” but do not seek Him.
We desire that El Shaddai Church, Sânnicolau Mic, may know and fulfill its purpose and calling.
May the Lord God of heaven and earth bless you!
